ACT Futures Mosaic: Lisbon Edition

After its premiere at Future Days 2026 in Copenhagen, the ACT Futures Mosaic now travels to Lisbon.
Created by ANTICIPATE and co-hosted with Salinas80 as part of their Minimal Cycles portfolio, this hands-on futures lab invites a small group of participants to explore the theme of EXCHANGE: what we exchange today, where existing systems are under pressure, and what new forms of value, trust, care, knowledge, attention and exchange might emerge.
This is not a lecture. It is a participatory laboratory where futures thinking becomes tangible, collective and visual.
Built around ANTICIPATE’s ACT Foresight Framework — Anticipate, Create, Transform — the session moves through four moments: futures exploration, scenario thinking, collaborative reflection and hands-on making. Participants translate ideas, tensions and possibilities into physical futures tiles: visual artefacts that capture emerging futures and, in Lisbon, enter into conversation with the Portuguese tradition of the azulejo.
Each tile created in Lisbon becomes part of the wider ACT Futures Mosaic: a growing travelling installation and shared archive of futures across cities, communities and events.
Copenhagen was the first piece. Lisbon will be the second.
