Trainings

Facilitated team learning in futures, foresight and innovation that builds capability, shared language, and practical tools you can use immediately in your work. This offer is part of the ANTICIPATE Academy, our learning space for futures thinking in action. Through courses, trainings, bootcamps, and programs, we help individuals and organizations integrate foresight into how they work.

What to expect

Trainings are structured learning experiences designed to make people capable and confident in applying futures thinking in their daily work, not just inspired by it.

What it is

A full curriculum, hands-on exercises, practical templates, facilitation, and often a small application case so people learn by doing. The focus is on tools and habits that can be used immediately after the sessions that can be in the form of an intense masterclass all the way to a longer, deeper learning program.

What you get

When you need internal capability: common concepts, consistent tools, better strategic conversations, and stronger decision-making habits across teams or functions.

When it fits

Sample formats

❋ Masterclass

A focused learning sprint (typically 2–4 hours or a half-day) teaching one practical futures skill. Light preparation, hands-on exercises, and tools you can reuse right away.

❋ Bootcamp

An intensive, applied training format (often 1–3 days or multiple live sessions). Participants learn core tools fast, apply them to a real case, and leave with concrete outputs and a repeatable workflow.

❋ Program

A deep learning journey over weeks or months, designed to build lasting capability through practice, feedback loops, and applied projects — embedding futures thinking into everyday work.

Lenses

❋ Futures Thinking 101

A foundational introduction to futures thinking and strategic foresight: core concepts, how it differs from prediction, and essential tools for better decisions under uncertainty.

Add-on modules: Doing Foresight, Selling Foresight, Augmenting Foresight, Cultural Foresight

Our futuring framework for transformative change
(A) Anticipate — Explore the futures from
signals to scenarios
(C) Create — Craft new strategies, innovations, or visions
(T) Transform — Turn foresight into meaningful, impactful action

❋ Futures-Driven Innovation

Connecting signals and futures exploration to opportunity spaces, concepts, and prototypes, so innovation is guided by what’s emerging, not only what’s familiar.

❋ Scanning & Sensemaking

How to scan the horizon systematically, make sense of weak signals, and build the foundations of an internal foresight practice. It combines structured scanning techniques with AI augmentation, tools for implications analysis, and methods for developing internal trend and signal repositories.

❋ AI & Emerging Tech

A practical pathway for understanding and working with AI and emerging technologies through a futures lens, where change is happening, where the leverage is, and how to experiment without getting lost in hype.

❋ Scenario Planning

Learning to develop and use scenarios to explore uncertainty, test strategies, surface assumptions, and translate narratives into implications and choices.
