The Futures Within: Are you Ready for a Playful Journey into Personal Foresight?

Workshop at Learning Days at Dubai Future Forum 2025

Hosted by Mathias Behn Bjørnhof (ANTICIPATE) and Darwin Antipolo (pxd labs)

Building futures capacity isn’t only about tools and frameworks, it starts with how people relate to the future on a personal level. This interactive workshop explores that inner dimension, often overlooked when bringing foresight into different cultures, sectors, and organizations.

Across four playful and hands-on stations, participants will work with methods such as LEGO® Serious Play®, zine-making, and rapid prototyping to:

  • Explore their personal relationship with the future

  • Strengthen core futures mindsets and creative confidence

  • Test a new Personal Futures Readiness Tool

  • Translate imagination into tangible ideas and actions

The session blends creativity, reflection, and practice to make futures work more human-centered, grounded, and accessible — offering a fresh way to build futures capability from the inside out.
