Stepping into the world’s largest gathering of futurists can feel both exciting and overwhelming — especially if it’s your first time. The First-Timers Meetup is a welcoming space designed to make the Forum experience more approachable, connected, and rewarding from the very start.

Hosted by ANTICIPATE, Chloé de Ruffray, and Amy Daroukakis, this informal gathering on the morning of Day 1 (November 18) near the Museum of the Future brings together newcomers for:

  • A friendly introduction to the Forum environment

  • Practical tips on how to navigate the event

  • Space to meet other first-time participants before the sessions begin

The goal is simple: help first-timers feel grounded, confident, and part of the community from the moment the Forum opens.
