The Future Is… Megatrends in Everyday Life

Talk by Mathias Behn Bjørnhof

What do global megatrends actually mean for our everyday lives?

At Gladsaxe Libraries’ future festival The Future Is…, futurist Mathias Behn Bjørnhof takes the audience on an engaging tour through the major forces already shaping our world — from artificial intelligence and climate change to shifting ways of living, working, and belonging.

Drawing on international examples and Danish experiences, the talk makes large-scale trends tangible and relevant. Rather than focusing on hype or prediction, it explores how individuals, communities, and decision-makers can better understand complexity and make informed choices in a rapidly changing world.

A grounded and hopeful introduction to the future — with curiosity, reflection, and room for action.
