NEXT – A Festival about the Future (Aalborg)
📅 1–2 May 2026
📍 AAU INNOVATE – Science & Innovation Hub, Aalborg
Folkeuniversitetet’s NEXT – En festival om fremtiden is a two-day futures festival exploring what lies ahead for us as people, as a society, and in our shared everyday life. Across talks on technology, megatrends, food, health, and ageing, the festival brings together some of Denmark’s strongest voices in futures research, AI, gastronomy, and social change.
On Saturday 2 May, ANTICIPATE founder Mathias Behn Bjørnhof will give the talk:
“Megatrends i øjenhøjde” – Megatrends in Everyday Life
In this session, Mathias makes major shifts like urbanisation, AI, and climate change tangible and close to home. Drawing on international cases and Danish experience, he explores how megatrends shape work, democracy, identity, and community – and how citizens, decision-makers, and organisations can respond more wisely in a complex world. The tone is accessible, curious, and focused on creating more agency rather than more anxiety.
The festival is held in Danish and includes catering on both days.
