Congreso de Futuros 2026

Dates: Wednesday, October 7, 2026 – Thursday, October 8, 2026 (optional paid workshops October 9)

Venue: Complejo VM20, Universidad de Chile, Santiago, Chile

The Congreso de Futuros 2026 is the annual gathering of the Red Iberoamericana de Prospectiva (RIBER), convened this year with the Faculty of Government at the University of Chile. It serves as a meeting point for the Ibero-American futures community to share research and practice, organised this edition around the theme of "Chile 2050" and the governance of the future.

Foresight in service of democracy, public policy, and social transformation across Latin America — spanning anticipatory governance, sustainability, artificial intelligence, and educational innovation. A day of paid workshops on October 9 adds scenario laboratories and strategic-leadership training on governing 2050.
