12th Annual International Symposium on Foresight

The Athens Institute will hold its 13th Annual International Symposium on Foresight, 26-31 July 2027, Athens, Greece as part of the 14th Annual International Conference on Social Sciences organized by the Social Sciences Division and the Computer Science Unit of the Athens Institute.
The aim of the symposium is to bring together scholars, researchers and students from all areas of Futures Studies and other related disciplines including quantitative and/or qualitative methods such as scenario‑building, horizon scanning, forecasting, roadmapping, back‑casting, technology assessment, Delphi surveys and social platforms.

You may participate as stream organizer, presenter of one paper, chair a session or observer. Irrespectively of the theme of the Athens Institute’s small academic events, all programs may include few sessions on general issues of education and research.
Please submit a 300-word abstract, by e-mail by 29 September 2026 to: atiner@atiner.gr, using the abstract submission form to: Dr. Gregory T. Papanikos, Pleasident, Athens Institute. Abstracts should include the following: Title of Paper, Full Name (s), Affiliation, Current Position, an e-mail address and at least 3 keywords that best describe the subject of your submission. Decisions are reached within 4 weeks. If your submission is accepted, you will receive information on registration deadlines and paper submission requirements.
